What we stand for

Wendur is a twist on the word “Wendo,” meaning “love.” It’s a return to conscious living and awareness of a fast-changing world that needs a lifestyle change. The concept of Wendur is not a marketplace but a community of people who consider the human experience and the love and support it requires. Wendur is about being MINDFUL of others, the environment, and our world in general.

At its core, Wendur is deeply passionate about Africa, organic lifestyles, natural buildings and architecture, eco-communities, family, organic farming, and the green environment.

We are positioned as a conscious living, creative, and storytelling platform, connecting people around the world to Africa’s many perspectives, experiences, people, creativity, places, and knowledge systems. Wendur is a conscious movement for love, healing, restoration, and the rebirth of our world.

Modern life is missing something essential – LIFE. We must choose to remember how to live again. We must choose love for life, land, people, healthy food, culture, and the quiet wisdom of living in rhythm with nature. Wendur calls us to remember that we are spirit beings on the human journey to embrace the Divine, while seeing divinity in all things.

What we believe

Family is the greatest unite of power on earth: The beauty and importance of family are beyond words. And the war against the family system is proof of this reality.

Organic living: Simply put, organic living is a holistic lifestyle focused on minimizing exposure to synthetic chemicals and artificial additives while supporting environmental sustainability. It goes beyond just food to encompass eco-friendly choices in all daily habits, including personal care, clothing, natural eco-friendly homes and eco-friendly environments.

Trees have no race: Trees have no race. They do not choose the soil they grow in based on color, language, or borders drawn by human hands. A tree stands where it is planted, offering shade to anyone who comes near, releasing oxygen into the same shared air, and holding the earth together with quiet strength. In this way, trees remind us that nature belongs to all of us—and that the responsibility to protect it belongs to all of us as well. We cannot be those who close their eyes to the needs of the collective, for the sake of our selfish desires and tendencies. The earth belongs to us all.

Green Eco-friendly spaces: Green spaces are more than places of beauty and rest—they are vital allies in the fight against climate change. Forests, parks, wetlands, grasslands, and community gardens absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, cool our cities, protect biodiversity, and help regulate the natural systems that sustain life on earth. We cannot ignore them or see them as decorative, but as part of the systems that make life on earth worth living. And this is the beauty of life on earth, the diversity and the role each one of us has been blessed with to give to the good of all. We must always remember that we are all part of the circle of life and we all matter in how we make our world a better place.

Eco-travels and Destinations: Travel has the power to open our eyes to the beauty and diversity of the natural world. Eco-travel invites us to go a step further—to explore the world with conscious awareness and respect for the environments and communities we encounter. It is about choosing destinations, experiences, and lifestyles that protect nature rather than exploit it. It is about being aware that all things in our world are connected and that what hurts one hurts all.

Ecotourism: Ecotourism is responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment, sustains the well-being of local people, and involves interpretation and education. It focuses on low-impact, sustainable practices that promote conservation, such as visiting protected areas, supporting local communities, and fostering appreciation for nature.

Wendur is a call to simplicity and conscious awareness of places, people, cultures, friendship, communities, respect, honor, value, responsibility, spirituality, knowledge systems, true education, the environment, family, and life in general.
